The Steel Woods were co-founded by Jason “Rowdy” Cope and Wes Bayliss, built around heavy guitars, honest songs, and a sound that lived somewhere between Southern rock, country, and the road.

Across four studio albums, the band carved out a loyal following with songs that were raw, melodic, and built to last. Rowdy’s guitar work, songwriting, and vision remain at the heart of The Steel Woods.

The Steel Woods played their final tour in 2024, but the music is still here. The records remain. The stories remain. The band lives on through the people who still carry it.
